About Me

My name is Yesenia & if you read my Bio you're a little informed about how this whole blog came about. I am a mother of two, one I get to hold with me & the other watches from above. I am also a fur mom to a very active & loving Husky, Luna. 

After taking 10 years off of school because I had no idea what career path to pursue & what my passion was I began a long pursuit to become a Registered Nurse. The passion for this came after my son, Joshua was born premature & spent six months in the NICU. As you might have read, he never made it home which was the most difficult and life defining moment in my life. In May, 2023 I graduated with my BSN & hope to become a NICU nurse to give back to the place that will forever hold a place in my heart. 

Although this blog originally started for the purpose of documenting my pregnancy with Joshua it has since evolved into a space where I have documented my life, pre and post Joshua. 

I continued to document my journey through life, my struggles with mental health and of starting and finishing nursing school. 

Having this blog come full circle has been beyond anything I could have imagined. As I continue through this journey of becoming a NICU nurse and everything that entails, I hope to continue to document the ups & downs of nursing, mental health, being a mom, and everything in between. I hope to be a voice to other mothers out there that may be able to relate to my story and find meaning in an unimaginable situation; losing your child.
